Finding the right size
How to find the right size for your new modest swimsuit.
On most garments, sizes vary according to the area where you live in and also by manufacturer. Below, we have provided a size chart comparing most American sizes, European sizes, and Princess sizes, along with the measurements that correspond to them.
How to take your measurements
It’s best to take your measurements while wearing your bra and light clothing. For the bust measurement, wrap a simple tape measure around your back, and bring it forward to the fullest part of your bust. The tape measure should be held loosely and not taut.
For the hip measurement, it helps to stand in front of the mirror with your feet together and notice where the fullest part of your hips are. Every woman is built differently, and some women are wider at the top of their hips, and some women are wider at the bottom of their hips, almost down by their thights. Try to notice your hips from the side view as well, and measure around your hips at the widest part. If you are not sure, you might want to take a couple of measurements and see which one is the largest. That is the hip measurement that you will want to use. Make sure that the tape measure is not twisted, and not tight.
There is quite a bit of overlap between sizes, so a good rule if you are between sizes is to go up a size if you are tall or very large busted. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
